Ear screening program details of Tyouda Secondary School,

Tyouda, Tanlachhi, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Shristi Subba, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta, &  Ms Roshna Shrestha

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 202
• Total number of students with normal findings: 105 (51.98%)
• Total number of students with wax: 86(42.57%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 1 (0.50%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 10 (4.95%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 4 (1.98%)
