Ear screening program details of Tharlam Sasang Namgyal Ing Shakya Dharma Bihar,

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Rajesh Maharjan, Ms. Smriti Shrestha , Ms Prity Maharjan, Ms. Alina Madhikarmi, Ms. Rosy Bajracharya.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 64
• Total number of students with normal findings: 39 (60.93%)
  • Normal with hearing loss: 5
• Total number of students with wax: 9 (14.06%)
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 10 (15.62%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 1 (1.56%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 9 (14.06%)
