Ear screening program details of Shree Yagyamati Secondary School,

Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Shristi Subba, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta, Ms Karina Giri

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 339
• Total number of students with normal findings: 153 (45.13%)
• Total number of students with wax: 152 (44.84%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 4 (1.18%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 30 (8.85%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 10 (2.95%)
