Ear screening program details of Janajagriti Secondary School,

Jagdol, Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Shristi Subba, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta, Ms. Karina Giri

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 152
• Total number of students with normal findings: 62 (40.79%)
• Total number of students with wax: 80 (52.63%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 2 (1.32%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 8 (5.26%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 4 (2.63%)
